"Inspiring wonder in the intelligence, complexity and voices of elephants and securing a kinder future for them."

We study the voices, behaviour and cultures of elephants and act as a voice for them in the face of human exploitation and a rapidly changing world. We use our data to help to better understand elephants, to shape conservation policy, to educate, and to advocate.

ElephantVoices is a small, effective and collaborative organisation with global outreach. We work with elephant biologists all over the world and our collection of observations, audio and video recordings, and images form the basis of extensive databases that are visited and used by a world-wide audience.

ElephantVoices engages in research, conservation, advocacy and education, combining long-term scientific study with public engagement to deepen understanding of elephants and to secure a more ethical and sustainable future for them.

Collaboration lies at the heart of ElephantVoices. While our core team is small, we are part of a far-reaching international network of colleagues, institutions, and long-standing partners whose shared commitment makes our work and discoveries possible.
