Trunk-to-Body

Reaching of the trunk toward or touching the body of another. This behavior is observed in all age/sex groups, although it is used by age-sex groups at different frequencies in different contexts.

In the C family, gf0080’s 6 month old female calf walks over to a one year old male calf and reach out to touch him Trunk-to-Body and Social-Rub against him as if initiating another interaction. He turns and start a Play-Reach-Over. gf0154 notices and reach her Trunk-Toward as if to intervene, but does not, but her movement forward toward them stops the antics and may have been intentional.
