Estrous-Walk

An estrous female avoiding males and walking with a characteristic long and purposeful gait in an arc away from her family her Ears-Stiff, Chin-Up and Tail-Raising. She Looks-Back to monitor her distance from following males, giving her body a slight twisted and bowed-back appearance as she walks. As her Estrous-Walk becomes a Chase she may give an Estrous-Roar.

As the clip starts we see a female with Ears-Stiff walking between two bushes. A young male tries to Reach-Over her back and she begins a Retreat-From and then briefly Runs-Away. He Run-After her a few steps with a growing Erection and in an eager rather than aggressive posture. She Looks-Back and Retreats-From. Then when the young male pauses to Sniff-Ground, she stops monitoring his position, Listening, with J-Trunk. (Maasai Mara, Kenya)
