Intention-Movement

Moving the body or appendages in a manner that appears to serve as indications or signals to others that an elephant is about to move or perform an action. In The Elephant Ethogram we use the term Intention-Movement to refer to just those behaviors that appear to be related to initiating movement in an elephant group. See the included behaviors.
